Welcome to Ye Olde Green Dragon in Shenfield

Alan & Bev would like to welcome you to ‘Ye Olde Green Dragon, a 16th Century Coaching Inn, once used as a halfway house between London and Southend.

Our real ales are Green King IPA, Adnams and two guest beers, which are accredited by ‘Cask Marque’ an industry recognised measurement of quality.

Quality wines are supplied by Cellar Twelve a Chelmsford based wine merchant.

Restaurant and bar meals are home cooked by head chef Adam DeCruz using quality ingredients and where possible sourced by local suppliers. meat from Dean at L Buckle, fish from Terry at Fishy Business, bread from Derek at Roses Bakery and fruit and vegetables from Mick (“The Veg”) Maynard.
