Starters

Leek and Potato Soup
Heart-warming homemade soup served with home baked rustic loaf and butter. (V)

Prawn Cocktail
Served with a piquant Marie-Rose sauce on fresh salad with buttered granary bread.

Pate
Delicious duck and orange pate served with Cranberry sauce and toasted rustic loaf.

Melon Boat
Refreshing and light with a slice of orange. (V)

 

Main Course

Roast Turkey and Trimmings
Plump Roast Turkey served with pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, honey roast parsnips, swede, Brussels sprouts, carrots and pork sausage, sage and onion stuffing.

Nut Roast
A traditional nut roast served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, honey roast parsnips, swede, Brussels sprouts, carrots and sage and onion stuffing. (V)

Braised Feather Blade Beef
Slow cooked in Adnams with shallots and served with creamy mashed potato, carrots, honey roast parsnips, swede and Brussels sprouts. (V) (GF)

Fillet of Salmon with a Prawn Cream Sauce
Served with crushed new potatoes and buttered spinach with peas. (V) (GF)

Individual Mushroom Hot Pot Pie
Homemade mushroom hotpot in a pie with sliced potato and cheese topping served with a Stilton cream sauce and carrots, honey roast parsnips, swede and Brussels sprouts.

 

Dessert

Succulent Christmas pudding
Traditional pudding served with brandy sauce.

Profiteroles
Light and fluffy choux puffs filled with cream served with ice cream and smothered in chocolate sauce

Cointreau Crème Brûlée
Crème Brûlée made with a glug of Cointreau and topped with crisp burnt sugar

Tropical Fresh Fruit Cocktail
Served with refreshing coconut ice cream

Cheese and Biscuits
A selection of European cheeses served with biscuits, celery and chutney.

 

To Finish

A cup of filter coffee or tea served with a mini mince pie and an after dinner mint.

Our Christmas Fayre Menu is available from 29th November to 22nd December 2016, Tuesday to Saturday 12 noon to 2pm and 6pm to 8pm.

Lunch - 2 course £17.95 / 3 course £21.95 per person.
Dinner - 2 course £22.95 / 3 course £26.95 per person
